As the sun went down over the Getty Center in Los Angeles tonight, some of Hollywood’s most esteemed stars gathered to toast not only their recent ELLE covers, but the whole of the film and television industry’s evolution as a field where women can thrive. This year’s Women in Hollywood honorees Anne Hathaway, Michelle Yeoh, Issa Rae, Olivia Wilde, Sydney Sweeney, Sigourney Weaver, and Ariana DeBose gathered amongst friends and colleagues—including Mindy Kaling, Charlize Theron, Keke Palmer, Hailey Bieber, Kerry Washington, Quinta Brunson, and more—for a night of cocktails, dancing, and Nick Kroll-led comedy. Co-hosted by Ralph Lauren, Lexus, and Amyris, the 29th annual Women in Hollywood featured inspiring speeches from many of Tinseltown’s top talent—and enough designer dresses to rival Rodeo Drive.
