America Ferrera got ready to attend her first Chloé show in a festive way: with music and dancing. It seems fitting, as creative director Gabriela Hearst took her final bow for the French fashion house in the same way, vigorously dancing to Rio’s samba school Mangueira—nothing but good vibes here. The Barbie star—who poured her all into a now-viral monologue from the film—embodies the strong female energy the brand exudes. And at the show, she dressed to prove it.
Clad in a power tuxedo suit from the label’s resort 2024 collection, the actress shared that the look matches her personality, and made her feel more like herself. And when she added a pair of oversized sunglasses? She couldn’t possibly look cooler. Ferrera completed her ensemble with the Penelope Small Top Handle Bag, which felt like the perfect pop of color to give the look an added touch.
Of course, before she turned on the glam—which included glowy makeup and easy curls—Ferrera took the opportunity to get ready in comfort (and with a bite to eat, of course!) in a beige ribbed knit lounge set, which might just be the new standard for prep sessions.
“I had a great time at my first Chloé show. I thought the collection was beautiful and celebrated many different versions of feminine style,” Ferrera told ELLE.com post-show. “I personally love to wear flowy dresses and leather pantsuits, preferably on the same day. I also loved the music and dancing at the end that brought so much joy and fun to the event.”
