Hilary Ann Rogers and Jeffrey Patrick Mauro were married Jan. 4 at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer in New York. The Rev. Joseph Hagan, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony.
Until November, Mrs. Mauro, 34, was the director of individual philanthropy at the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds cancer research. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt and received a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Columbia.
The bride is a daughter of Mary Jo Rogers and Brian C. Rogers of Ruxton, Md. The bride’s father retired as the former chairman and chief investment officer of T. Rowe Price in Baltimore and is a board member of the Harvard Management Company, United Technologies, the Lowe’s Corporation, Brookings Institution and John Hopkins University. Her mother serves on the board of the Melanoma Research Alliance.
Mr. Mauro, 33, is the chief investment officer of Fortitude Reinsurance Ltd., a subsidiary of A.I.G. He is also a chartered financial analyst. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown
The groom is a son of Alice R. Mauro and Martin J. Mauro of Glen Rock, N.J. The groom’s mother retired as a teacher at a Montessori school in Ridgewood, N.J. His father retired as a managing director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.
The couple met through the dating app the League.
