Halsey Winifred Anderson and Stephen Douglas Green were married June 22 at the Church of the Atonement in Quogue, N.Y. The Rev. Amy A. Slater, an Episcopalian priest, officiated.
The bride, 38, is the vice president for content at the J. Crew Group, a multibrand retailer based in Manhattan. She graduated from George Washington University and received a master of fine arts degree in fiction writing from the New School in Manhattan.
She is the daughter of Margaret H. Gardiner of Manhattan and the late John B. Anderson, who lived in St. Louis. The bride’s mother is the executive director of the Merchant’s House Museum in Manhattan. The bride’s father was a vice president in the municipal bond trading department at J.P. Morgan in Manhattan.
The groom, 39, is a project manager with James E. Fitzgerald, a construction management firm in Manhattan. He graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. His previous marriage ended in divorce.
He is a son of Mary C. Green of Brooklyn and the late Donald T. Green of Summit, N.J. The groom’s mother, who is retired, was a credit and collections manager for Charmant USA, an eyewear company in Morris Plains, N.J. His father was a director of safety and security for the College of Saint Elizabeth in Convent Station, N.J.
The couple met in 2016 through the dating app Bumble.
