The plush blue lounge upstairs at the Four Seasons restaurant has started holding cabaret performances on occasional Friday evenings. What is uncommon about the programs is that many of the performers are current or former kitchen and dining room employees of the restaurant. In April, Rafa Campos Salles, a former reservationist, performed Poulenc and a medley of Broadway oldies, accompanied by Monica Lu, and they may return on May 31. Nick Drakides, a former bartender, will perform jazz on May 17. In July, Carson Rammelt, a singer, songwriter and Four Seasons host, will be onstage at a date yet to be determined. A bar menu, with oysters, Wagyu sliders, crab cakes and arancini, is available.
Live music at the Treehouse at the Four Seasons Restaurant, $35 per person admission, 6 p.m., 42 East 49th Street, eventbrite.com, search “four seasons.”
