Erin Patricia Mills and Mark Peter Haslinger Jr. were married Dec. 31 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Hopewell, N.J. Msgr. Luke M. Sweeney, a cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Haslinger, 32, is a vice president for marketing in the digital group of the asset and wealth management division of JPMorgan Chase & Company, the New York bank. She graduated from Princeton.
She is a daughter of Maura Benedetto Mills of Lawrenceville, N.J., and Laurence D. Mills of Rockledge, Fla. The bride’s father retired as an enrollment counselor at Argosy University in Chandler, Ariz., and also was an adjunct professor, teaching principles of management, at the Tempe, Ariz., campus of the University of Dubuque. He also retired from the United States Air Force Reserve and the Defense Department, having served as an air reserve technician at McGuire Air Force Base in Burlington, N.J., where he was the aircraft maintenance superintendent, and having attained the rank of chief master sergeant. Her mother is a residential sales associate at Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s International Realty in Princeton, N.J.
Mr. Haslinger, 35, is a senior information technology consultant in the New York office of Turner & Townsend, a project and cost management consultancy. He graduated from Fordham.
He is a son of Lynn Olsen Haslinger in Huntington, N.Y., and Mr. Haslinger Sr. of Sag Harbor, N.Y. The groom’s mother is a speech language pathologist at Bayville Primary School in Bayville, N.Y. His father is a lector, reading during the Thursday morning mass, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, and is a municipal bond underwriter, trader and salesman who has held positions at Clayton Brown & Associates, USBank and other municipal bond shops in New York for 40 years.
The couple met in 2013 through Match.com, the online dating service, and had their first date in New York.
