Eric Tsytsylin and Rony Rothken were married Jan. 11 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, an events space in Manhattan. Neil Timiraos, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.
Mr. Tsytsylin (left), 31, is the head of brand at the Farmer’s Dog, a fresh pet food company based in Manhattan. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale and received an M.B.A. from Stanford.
He is the son of Yelena Tsytsylin and Sergey Tsytsylin of Forest Hills, Queens.
Mr. Rothken, 32, is a corporate associate at the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in Manhattan. He graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University and received a law degree, magna cum laude, from Fordham.
He is a son of Shonnie Heller of Teaneck, N.J., and Mitchell A. Rothken of Scarsdale, N.Y. He is a stepson of Samuel L. Heller.
The couple met in December 2015 on the League, a dating app. After a few days of digital banter, they had their first date at a wine bar on Perry Street, for which their French bulldog, Perry, is named.
