Emily Anne Abbott and Renaldo Stephen Noel Davis are to be married June 16 at India House, a private club in Manhattan. The Rev. Jennifer A. Little, a United Church of Christ minister and an aunt of the bride, is to officiate.
Ms. Abbott, 32, is a development and communications manager for the Town School, a coeducational elementary school in Manhattan. She graduated cum laude from Butler University in Indianapolis.
She is the daughter of Susan E. Abbott and Douglas S. Abbott of Champaign, Ill. The bride’s father is the director of church administration for Faith United Methodist Church in Champaign. Her mother works in Champaign as a managing director of client services for R.C. Giltner Services, a company, which is based in Louisville, Ky., that provides digital loans, liquidity and overdraft solutions to financial institutions.
Mr. Davis, also 32, works in Manhattan as a programmatic account director for Spotify, the music streaming service, which is based in Stockholm. He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
He is a son of Sharon D. Davis and Noel M.A. Davis of the Bronx. The groom’s mother is an assistant principal at Middle School 129 Academy for Independent Learning and Leadership in the Bronx. His father works in Wilton, Conn., as a merchandiser with News America Marketing, a division of the News Corporation that publishes coupon inserts for newspapers and sells in-store advertising in supermarkets based in Manhattan.
The couple met in 2014 through the dating site OkCupid.
