Ellen Grace Gray and Antoine Fahmy Ibrahim were married March 7 at the Church of our Saviour in Manhattan. Msgr. Kevin Sullivan performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Ibrahim, 34, is the human resources business partner at Droit, a technology firm in Manhattan. She graduated from Princeton and received a master’s in social organizational psychology from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Monica M. Gray and Bill F. Gray of City Island, the Bronx. The bride’s father is a partner in Foley Hoag, a law firm in Manhattan. Her mother works in Manhattan as a private tutor for the SAT and ACT standardized tests.
Mr. Ibrahim, 43, is the communications manager at iZotope, an audio technology company in Manhattan. He is also the head of communications for Sports USA, a national radio network based in Los Angeles that broadcasts National Football League games. He graduated from Rockford University in Rockford, Ill.
He is the son of Rose Ibrahim and Fahmi Ibrahim of Manhattan. The groom’s mother was a stay-at-home parent. Her father retired as the general manager and co-founder of Pyramid Ready Mix, a company in Sterling, Ill., that provides the state with ready-mix concrete.
The couple met in August 2016 in Bethpage, N.Y., at the Barclays, a PGA Tour event. They were introduced through mutual friends and went on their second date in Central Park the next day.
