Ellen Clare O’Sullivan and Peter Ryan Bradt were married Feb. 15 at the Bel Air Bay Club, an events space in Los Angeles. Katherine Hudson, a Universal Life minister and a maternal aunt of the groom, officiated, with Catherine Frugé Starghill, a maternal aunt of the bride, taking part.
Ms. O’Sullivan, 36, who goes by Elle, is a talent executive focusing on film, Broadway and author bookings at NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in Manhattan. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
She is a daughter of Martina O’Sullivan and Will O’Sullivan of Capitola, Calif. The bride’s father retired as a federal probation manager of the San Jose office of the Northern District of California in San Francisco, and then became the director of substance abuse treatment programs at the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center, from which he also retired. Her mother retired as the director for community engagement at Dignity Health Dominican hospital in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Mr. Bradt, 34, is a business development manager at Open Reel, a video platform in Manhattan allowing corporate marketers to remotely film subjects in high definition. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
He is the son of Meg Bradt and George Bradt of Stamford, Conn. The groom’s mother is an executive recruiter and human resources consultant based in Manhattan, who is affiliated with the Cornerstone International Group, an international network of search firms. His father is an executive consultant and an author whose books include “The New Leader’s 100-Day Action Plan” (John Wiley & Sons, 2006). He is also a contributor focusing on leadership and executive transitions for Forbes.com.
The couple met in the summer of 2015 through mutual friends at a gathering Mr. Bradt organized at the North River Lobster Company, a floating lobster shack on the Hudson River in New York. A week later they had their first date at the Full Circle Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where Ms. O’Sullivan won 10 out of 10 games of Skee-Ball.
