Elizabeth Ann Weeden and John Colgan McNeil III were married Aug. 31 at the Emerson Park Pavilion, an events space in Auburn, N.Y. The Rev. Michael L. Weeden, the father of the bride who is a United Methodist Church minister, officiated.
The couple met in 2011 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., from which they both graduated.
The bride, 27, is a vice president at Quinn PR, a public relations firm in New York.
She is the daughter of Dr. Catherine J. Cannariato of Ithaca, N.Y., and Mr. Weeden of Gouverneur, N.Y. She is the stepdaughter of Mary Driesch and Ellen Weeden.
The groom, 28, is known as Colgan. He is a press agent at Polk & Company, a public relations firm in New York.
He is the son of Vanessa D. Yates of Skaneateles, N.Y., and Jack McNeil of Cortland, N.Y. He is the stepson of Michael Yates.
