Edward Louis Heim and Christian William Lynch were married June 22 at the Current, an events space at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. Rosemary S. Pooler, a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, officiated.
Mr. Heim (left), 55, is a senior underwriter for the Fidelity National Title Insurance Company in Manhattan. He also serves on the board of directors for the Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution, a community mediation center in the Bronx. He graduated from the University at Buffalo.
He is a son of Esther M. Heim and Herbert H. Heim of Fayetteville, N.Y. His mother retired as a proposal specialist for government contracts with the General Electric Company in Syracuse. His father retired as a partner in the Koldin Law Center, in East Syracuse, N.Y.
Mr. Lynch, 47, is the founder of (212) Goods, a new woman’s wear collection starting in fall 2020. He graduated from Arizona State.
He is a son of Paula A. Lynch of Orland Park, Ill., and the late Thomas W. Lynch. Mr. Lynch’s father retired as the director of sales for Allied Tube and Conduit in Harvey, Ill. He was also a Marine. Mr. Lynch’s mother was a stay-at-home parent.
The couple were introduced in 2008 by mutual friends in Fire Island Pines, N.Y.
