To embark on this new category, Savage X Fenty added two buzzy starlets to its roster: Gossip Girl star Jordan Alexander and singer and actress Dove Cameron. On how she feels about joining the Savage X Fenty team, Alexander tells ELLE.com, “Sexy is exactly who you are, as you are,” then continues, “seeing how fearlessly Rihanna pursues the celebration of individuality with Savage X Fenty gives me so much courage and inspiration to accept every part of myself and my life. There is no blueprint for my body or my life; I get to make that for myself, I don’t need to be like anyone else.” Alexander’s signature buzz cut pairs perfectly with the laid-back looks of the collection, and I, for one, can’t wait to see how else she rocks the Savage X Fenty universe.
For her part, Cameron recently made waves with her new single “Boyfriend,” and she’s equally stoked to enter the elite group of girls who can now be considered Rihanna’s muses. “It’s been such an honor working with an iconic brand that focuses on celebrating inclusivity and individuality,” she says. “This new collection is so lush and so fresh, perfect for the everyday elevation I need to be the best version of myself.” Relatable!
