Deborah Ann Karam and Gladney Boyd Darroh were married April 27 at the Church of St. John the Divine in Houston. Canon James D. Shoucair, an Episcopal priest and a cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Darroh, 58, owns DKM Accessories, a retailer of women’s accessories in Tampa, Fla. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University. She is a daughter of Barbara E. Karam and Wadih A. Karam of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Mr. Darroh, who is 69 and works in Houston, is the founder and chief executive of Piper-Morgan Associates, personnel consultants to the oil and gas industry. He graduated from the University of Houston. He is a son of Peggy Boyd Darroh of Houston and the late Harold W. Darroh.
The bride’s first marriage ended in divorce, as did the groom’s.
The couple met in July 2015 through a mutual friend.
