Danielle Grace Kinsella and David Barrows Fowler were married Aug. 3 in Nantucket, Mass. The Rev. Dr. Ruth Herron Smalt, a Presbyterian minister, performed the ceremony at the First Congregational Church, where she is the associate minister.
Dr. Fowler, 29, is a pediatric physical therapist at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, N.Y. She graduated from the University of Michigan, and received a doctoral degree in physical therapy from N.Y.U.
She is a daughter of Roni L. Kinsella and Jeffrey M. Kinsella of Canton, Mich. The bride’s father retired as the founder and chief executive of Ground Services International and Metro Air Services, both aviation service companies that were in Romulus, Mich. Her mother is the lead designer at Danison Management, a custom-home builder in Naples, Fla., that was founded by the bride’s father.
Mr. Fowler, 31, is a first vice president for capital markets in the New York office of CBRE, a commercial real estate services and investment firm. He graduated from George Washington University.
He is a son of Susan Ward Fowler and David S. Fowler of Rumson, N.J. The groom’s mother is the founder of Down to Basics, a bedding company in Red Bank, N.J. His father retired as the chief executive of the Chubb Institute, a chain of for-profit technical training schools that was in Parsippany, N.J.
The couple met at a bar in New York in 2016.
