Dagney Devlin Pruner and Carlos Gómez del Campo Neme were married Oct. 25 in a civil ceremony at the Cipriani restaurant in Mexico City, in a ceremony led by Judge Juana Emilia Soler. On Oct. 26, the Rev. Ramón A. Hevia, a Roman Catholic priest, performed a nuptial mass in the chapel at Colegio de San Ignacio de Loyola Vizcaínas, a preparatory school in Mexico City.
Mrs. Gómez del Campo, 29, is the marketing communications director of Next Coast Ventures, a technology venture capital fund in Austin, Texas. She graduated from the University of Virginia and received a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas.
She is the daughter of Alexandra D. Pruner and David R. Pruner of Houston. The bride’s father is the partner-in-charge of the Houston office of Heidrick & Struggles, an executive search firm. Her mother retired as the chief financial officer of Perella Weinberg Partners, an investment bank and asset manager in New York; she is now a senior adviser to the firm.
Mr. Gómez del Campo, also 29, is a product marketing manager at Enverus, a data aggregation company in Austin for the oil and gas industry. He graduated from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico, and received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas.
He is the son of Celia Neme de Gómez del Campo and Carlos Gómez del Campo Diaz Barreiro of Mexico City. The groom’s mother was a stay-at-home parent. His father owns Intelli Impresores, a printing business in Mexico City, as well as residential properties there.
The couple met in 2017 through mutual friends at a bar in Austin.
