Cristina Eubanks O’Brien and Philip Edwin Pietrowski Jr., were married Oct. 12 at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, in Harrodsburg, Ky. Jessica Golden Royko, a Universal Life minister and a friend of the bride, officiated.
Mrs. Pietrowski, 45, is the vice president and real estate counsel for Kindred Healthcare in Louisville, Ky. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky, and received a law degree from Vanderbilt.
She is the daughter of Martha Jean Miller Eubanks of Greenville, Ky., and the late Thomas Glenn Eubanks. The bride’s father, who worked in Greenville, was a welder, pipe fitter and labor union organizer for United Mine Workers of America and for United Association. Her mother was a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Pietrowski, 50, is a founding member of Faithful Parking, a service based in Lexington, Ky., that connects RV travelers with faith-based organizations to provide overnight accommodations. He is a service-disabled veteran of the United States Army 10th Mountain Division (light infantry). He graduated from Harvard.
He is a son of Margaret Mary Pietrowski and Mr. Pietrowski Sr. of Stuart, Fla. The groom’s mother was a stay-at-home parent. His father retired as the vice president for customer support services of the Lexmark Corporation, a company in Lexington that provides businesses of all sizes with a broad range of printing and imaging products.
The bride’s first marriage ended in divorce, as did the groom’s.
The couple met in July 2017 through the dating app Bumble.
