Corinne Elizabeth Warren and John Ansel Sawyer Jr. were married June 1 at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. Heather Rathbone, a Universal Life minister, officiated.
Ms. Warren, 29, is a trial lawyer for the Maryland office of the public defender in Baltimore. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University and received a law degree from American University.
She is the daughter of Diane M. Warren and Dr. Jeffrey S. Warren of Fairfield, Conn. The bride’s father is a dentist in private practice in Fairfield. Her mother is a nurse practitioner for Yale New Haven Health, a medical center in Huntington, Conn.
Mr. Sawyer, 30, is a lawyer adviser for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore. He graduated from the University of Richmond and received a law degree from Catholic University.
He is the son of Margaret E. Sawyer and John A. Sawyer of Southport, Conn. The groom’s mother retired as a preschool teacher at Landmark Academy Westport, Conn. His father, who is also retired, was a financial adviser at the Managers Investment Group in Norwalk, Conn.
The couple met in 2004 as freshman at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in Fairfield and continued dating long distance for several years after.
