Christopher Patrick Behan and Robert Price Hall III were married Nov. 9 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Washington. The Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson, a retired Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire, performed the ceremony.
Mr. Behan (left), 58, is a senior associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Baltimore, a nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of underserved children. He was previously a family therapist in Portland, Maine, where, in 1995, he was also a founder of Peabody House, an AIDS hospice. He graduated from Hamilton College and received a master’s degree in social work from the University of New England. He also has a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard.
He is a son of the late Arletta Behan, who lived in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and the late Edward Behan, who lived in Watertown, N.Y.
Mr. Hall, who is 59 and works in Washington, is vice president for federal governmental affairs at the Entergy Corporation, an integrated energy company with headquarters in New Orleans. He graduated from the University of Georgia, from which he also received a law degree. He also sings baritone with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, and its outreach ensemble, the Rock Creek Singers.
He is a son of Dianne Hay Hall of Newton, Ga., and the late Robert P. Hall Jr.
The couple met in 2015 through the dating app OkCupid.
