Christina Marie Mandreucci and Robert Deane Noel Jr. were married Dec. 28 at the Ashford Estate, an events space in Allentown, N.J. The Rev. John M. O’Sullivan, a Catholic priest, performed the ceremony.
The bride, 28, is the press secretary for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
She is a daughter of Margaret M. Mandreucci and Marcello Mandreucci of Robbinsville, N.J. The bride’s father owns and operates Marcello’s Pizza Grill in Hamilton, N.J., where his wife serves as business manager.
The groom, 29, is speechwriter in Washington to Mike Pompeo, the United States’ secretary of state. Mr. Noel graduated from George Washington University.
He is the son of Louise T. Noel and Robert Noel Sr. of Birmingham, Ala. The groom’s mother is a volunteer regional coordinator in Birmingham for Operation Christmas Child, a charity based in Boone, N.C., that delivers gifts to children in need. His father, who is retired, is a founder of Greystone, a digital consulting firm in Atlanta that served hospitals nationwide.
The couple met in 2015 while working for Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, for whom Mr. Noel served as chief speechwriter and Ms. Mandreucci as deputy press secretary.
