Christiana Rose Gavis and Jeffrey Aaron Hall were married Feb. 22 at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington. Dr. Bobby Jamieson, a Baptist pastor, officiated.
Ms. Gavis, 32, is a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting in McLean, Va. She graduated from the University of Virginia, and received an M.B.A. from U.C.L.A.
She is a daughter of Judy A. Gavis and John S. Gavis III of Manassas, Va. The bride’s father is a superintendent at E. E. Reed, a general contracting firm in Herndon, Va. The bride’s mother was a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Hall, 34, is a trial lawyer at the Justice Department in Washington. He graduated from Princeton, and received a law degree from Harvard. He previously served as senior counsel to the United States associate attorney general.
He is a son of Carol A. Hall and Joseph T. Hall of Manassas. The groom’s mother was a stay-at-home parent. His father, who is retired, was a deputy managing director of the Federal Communications Commission in Washington.
The couple met in 2018 after connecting on a dating app.
