Mast, the chocolate makers originally based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but now in Mount Kisco, N.Y., teamed up with the Metropolitan Museum of Art two years ago to create a special assortment of bars for the gift shop, each wrapped in paintings from the Met. Some are notably well matched, like Katsushika Hokusai’s “Under the Wave Off Kanagawa” for a bar of sea salt chocolate, and John Singer Sargent’s “Madame X” with dark chocolate. As a fund-raiser for its 150th anniversary, the collection of chocolate bars in a dozen flavors will benefit the museum. For each $9 bar, $5.50 will go to the Met; for the $100 set, $60 is donated.
