Cheryl Ann McCullagh and Conor Vincent Cassidy were married Nov. 2 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan. The Rev. Arthur Golino, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Cassidy, 27, is the music teacher at Public School 26 in Fresh Meadows, Queens, and is also a private music and singing instructor in Long Island City, Queens, and a professional singer. She graduated from Queens College.
She is the daughter of Monica H. McCullagh and Louis M. McCullagh of Maspeth, Queens.
Mr. McCullagh, 30, is a bartender at Niles New York City, a bar and restaurant in Manhattan. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in England.
He is a son of Mary Cassidy and Sean C. Cassidy of Dungannon, Ireland.
The couple met in 2016 while participating in an Irish singing competition at the New York Irish Center in Long Island City.
