Jasper Hill Farm in Greensboro, Vt. — one of the country’s most celebrated cheesemakers, known for the satiny, somewhat funky, rich Harbison — is offering two assortments, with 10 percent of the price of each donated to organizations helping restaurants and their employees during the pandemic. The World Central Kitchen box, named for and benefiting the effort run by José Andrés, is $79 and contains Bayley Hazen Blue, Cabot Clothbound Cheddar and creamy Willoughby. The Black Label Collection supports the Independent Restaurant Coalition. It is $105, and includes Bayley Hazen Blue, Cabot Clothbound Cheddar, double-cream Conundrum Special Release and Alpine-style Alpha Tolman. Add a jar of local honey and a wooden spreader for a total of $127. Either assortment would please a cheese-loving dad. Prices include shipping.
