Ceres Nadine Botros and Michael Benjamin Migdal were married April 26 at the Little Chapel of Silence on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Samantha Anne Becker, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.
On April 27, the couple took part in a celebration ceremony at Casita Hollywood, an events space in Los Angeles. Ms. Becker also led that ceremony.
The bride, 36, is a director of development at U.S.C., from which she graduated. She is the daughter of Anne Melikians Botros of Los Angeles and the late Dr. Fathi Zaki Botros. The bride’s mother was a stay-at-home-parent. Her father served as a diplomat for the United Nations after a career as a screenwriter in Egypt.
The groom, 34, is an associate at Alliance Bernstein, an asset management company in Los Angeles. He also graduated from U.S.C. He is a son of Stewart Migdal of San Diego and the late Clarice Bachelier Migdal. The groom’s father works in San Diego as a safety engineer for Cal/OSHA Consultation Services; his mother worked for the Isari Flower Studio in San Diego.
The couple met in 2014 on Tinder.
