Caroline Chao and Eric Su were married May 18 at Bear Flag Farm, an events space in Winters, Calif. Judge Margaret Fujioka of the Alameda County Superior Court and mother of the bride, officiated.
The couple met at the University of Pennsylvania, from which the bride graduated magna cum laude and the groom summa cum laude.
The bride, 28, recently received a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard.
She is the daughter of Margaret J. Fujioka and Cedric C. Chao of Piedmont, Calif. Her father owns Chao ADR, an arbitration and mediation practice in San Francisco. Her mother is also the former mayor of Piedmont, Calif.
The groom, 29, is a partner in Marcato Capital Management, an investment management firm in San Francisco.
He is a son of Ie-Ru Wang and Jow-Lih Su of Silver Spring, Md. His mother is the president of SKW Construction, a residential real estate developer in Silver Spring. The groom’s father is the chief executive of Certis USA, a developer and manufacturer of biological pesticides in Columbia, Md.
