Bella Hadid has been channeling the ethereal feel of her Orebella fragrance brand with a lineup of boho dresses, and her latest look is no exception.
On Thursday night, the supermodel stepped out in Los Angeles for a dinner celebrating her most recent launch. She wore a pale pink halter dress from the archives of Zuhair Murad, seemingly evoking the warm, spicy vanilla scent of her latest fragrance, Nightcap. The goddess-esque gown featured an asymmetrical hem, as well as a low-cut neckline.
Purple and beige floral beadwork embellished the garment’s triangle top and layered skirt, while the silhouette’s empire waist was accentuated by a fringed ribbon. In some areas, the fabric of the dress had an iridescent purple sheen to it, adding to the wispy feel of the look.
Hadid accessorized sparsely, letting the body-hugging dress speak for itself. A chunky gold ring sat on her left index finger, while a thin white beaded bracelet decorated the same arm. She leaned further into the floral theme with sparking gold heels that flaunted sculptural rose accents. For the occasion, the supermodel wore her brunette locks in cascading curls, and opted for a dewy glam that included a shimmering lavender eye shadow and a mauve lipstick.
“She’s strong, fierce, and needed to stand on her own,” Hadid told ELLE.com of her newest scent, Nightcap. “It was the first idea I had six years ago, and I originally wanted it to be the first fragrance. My team has been trying to teach me about patience.”
Hadid said she loves the smell of vanilla, and the scent felt nostalgic for her. The name of her fragrance is inspired by her childhood, too. “Nightcap was actually the name of one of my best-friend-favorite horses of all time. I went to the finals in high school with [Nightcap], the love-of-my-life horse,” she added. “This [fragrance] is really an ode to my teenage years and growing up. Horses have been everything to me since I was a kid.”
