Tez Chantaruchirakorn and Mark Joseph Mancini were married Oct. 12 at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Mass. Joshua B. Butts, a friend of the couple, received permission from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to officiate.
Mr. Chantaruchirakorn (left), who is 34 and known as Bank, is the chief of staff to the provost of Harvard University. He graduated cum laude from U.C.L.A. and received a master’s degree in education from Harvard.
He is the son of Phajee Chantaruchirakorn and Thanoo Chantaruchirakorn of Redondo Beach, Calif. His mother, who is retired, owned a beauty salon and a Thai restaurant in El Segundo, Calif., before becoming a stay-at-home parent. His father is a Redondo Beach-based freelance residential and commercial architectural designer.
Mr. Mancini, 36, is a director of human resources for Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston. He graduated from Georgetown.
He is the son of Kathleen Mancini and William Mancini of Northbridge, Mass. His mother retired as a mathematics teacher at Northbridge Middle School in Northbridge, Mass. His father is a manager of production operations for Visiant Health, a process solutions provider for health care businesses in Southborough, Mass.
The couple met in 2012 through the dating site Match.com.
