Ashley Alexandra Albrecht and Ryan Francis Morrell were married March 7 at Samsara Gardens in Miami. Angela Thomas, the bride’s sister who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.
Mrs. Morrell, 34, works in New York as a senior sales director at Choozle, a digital advertising software platform. She graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona.
She is a daughter of Gay Anne Wood-Albrecht of Berlin and Dr. Helmut H. Albrecht of Miami. The bride’s father retired as a physician specializing in pharmaceutical development in Miami. Her mother, also a pharmacist, is a consultant specializing in software internationalization and process management in Berlin.
Mr. Morrell, 32, works in the commercial real estate finance group at Morgan Stanley in New York, where he specializes in loan underwriting and originations. He graduated from Princeton.
He is a son of Patricia A. Morrell and Jerry Morrell of Glen Mills, Pa. The groom’s mother is a teacher at St. Cornelius, a grammar school in Chadds Ford, Pa. His father is a project manager at Boeing in Philadelphia.
The couple met in 2015 in New York through mutual friends.
