Asena Haznedar and Michael William Katoski were married July 13. David K. Goldstein, an affiliate of the American Marriage Ministries, officiated at the River Café in Brooklyn.
The couple met at Cornell, from which each graduated.
Ms. Haznedar, 32, is the assistant general counsel in the national office, in Manhattan, of the College Board, which owns the SAT and other standardized tests. She oversees the organization’s Advanced Placement program. She received a law degree from Northwestern.
She is the daughter of Binnur S. Haznedar and Haldun T. Haznedar of Houston. The bride’s father retired as an electrical engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, which was in Austin, Tex. Her mother is a psychologist in Houston.
Mr. Katoski, 34, is known as Kreg. He is a counsel in the bikes and scooters division, in Manhattan, at Lyft, the ride-hailing company. He received a law degree from Columbia.
He is the son of Maria S. Katoski and William S. Katoski of Longmeadow, Mass. The groom’s mother retired as a special-education supervisor in the public schools of Longmeadow. His father retired as a programmer at Defibtech, a medical device manufacturer in Guilford, Conn. He was also the founder of Kat, the Chicopee, Mass., company that made electronic drums.
