Arielle Zoe Feldshon and Alexander William Fox Tepper were married June 5 at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau. Raimundo Molina, a staff member of the New York City Clerk’s office, officiated.
On June 15, Zachary N. Trupp, a friend of the couple, is to lead a Jewish ceremony at Thea’s Inn of Ikaria, an inn on the island of Ikaria, Greece.
The couple met at N.Y.U., from which each graduated.
Ms. Feldshon, 29, is an associate at the New York office of Arnold & Porter. She received a law degree from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Dr. Archelle Georgiou and Dr. S. David Feldshon of Wayzata, Minn. The bride’s father is a gastroenterologist at MNGI Digestive Health, previously Minnesota Gastroenterology, a group practice in Minneapolis. Her mother teaches anatomy and physiology at Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She is also the health expert with a weekly segment on 5 Eyewitness News at KSTP-TV, an ABC affiliate in Minnesota.
Mr. Tepper, 30, is a writer and a producer in the creative promotion department at Nickelodeon in New York, the cable television network focusing on children’s programming.
He is the son of Judy Fox-Tepper of Rockville, Md., and the late Gary C. Tepper. The groom’s mother retired as the director at Beth Emeth Early Childhood Center, a Jewish nursery school in Herndon, Va. His father had retired as a partner in the Washington office of Ballard Spahr, the Philadelphia-based law firm.
The couple met in 2009 at a college toga party. In April 2012, they started dating in earnest after Mr. Tepper asked Ms. Feldshon to join him for a secret show by the Hives, a Swedish garage rock revival band, at the Studio at Webster Hall in New York’s East Village.
