Annie Cai and George Bell Adams III were married June 22 at the Montauk Lake Club in Montauk, N.Y. Richard D. Gage, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.
The bride and groom met at Vassar College, from which each graduated.
Mrs. Adams, 29, teaches middle school science at the Convent and Stuart Hall Schools of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco. She received a master’s degree in childhood education from Hunter College, specializing in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
She is the daughter of Yong Yin Cai and Xi Guang Cai of Brooklyn. The bride’s father is a chef at Hong Kong Fusion in Cherry Hill, N.J. Her mother stocks displays at the Abercrombie & Fitch store in Manhattan.
Mr. Adams, 31, is an associate in the San Francisco office of Shearman & Sterling, a law firm. He received a law degree cum laude from Fordham.
He is the son of E. Jean Adams and Mr. Adams Jr., both of Manhattan. The groom’s mother is an associate broker at Brown Harris Stevens, the Manhattan real estate company. His father owns a contemporary art gallery, which bears his name, in Manhattan.
