Anna James Laptook and Robert Chase Goldman were married Sept. 14 at Chaparral Ranch in Aspen, Colo. Rabbi Peter J. Rubinstein officiated.
Mrs. Goldman, 30, is the director of Global New Partnerships at American Express in New York and is a founding member of Chief, a network for female executives. She graduated from Vanderbilt.
She is the daughter of Brett James and Eric J. Laptook of New York. The bride’s father is a lawyer and former general counsel and chief compliance officer at TK Holdings, an automotive company, and Itochu International, a Japanese trading company. Her mother retired as the chief financial officer and a partner of EisnerAmper, an accounting and financial services firm.
The groom, 31, is a developer specializing in restaurants and the founder and owner of Bleecker Street Hospitality. He is also in the process of opening a new restaurant, Amos on Bleecker, in New York. He graduated from Yale and received an M.B.A. from Columbia.
Mr. Goldman is the son of Victoria Goldman and Lloyd M. Goldman of New York. The groom’s father is the president of the BLDG Management Company, the developer based in New York. His mother is the author of “The Manhattan Family Guide to Private and Selective Public Schools” and a self-employed educational consultant.
The couple met at a cocktail party hosted by mutual friends in New York in 2014.
