Anna Michelle Fagin and Gardner Fabian Davis Jr. were married June 22 at the bride’s family home in Thetford, Vt. Mary Coxe, an aunt of the groom, received permission from the state of Vermont to officiate.
The bride and groom met at Dartmouth, from which each graduated magna cum laude.
The bride, 28, is an associate at 3L Capital, an investment firm in New York. She is a daughter of Alison Frankel and Dan Fagin of Sea Cliff, N.Y. The bride’s father is a professor of journalism at N.Y.U. and author of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning nonfiction book, “Toms River: A Story of Science and Salvation” (Bantam, 2013). Her mother writes the daily legal column, “On the Case,” for Reuters in New York.
The groom, also 28, is a senior investment associate at Bridgewater Associates in New York, where he specializes in fixed-income research. He is the son of Martha C. Davis and Mr. Davis Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla. The groom’s father is a corporate lawyer at Foley & Lardner, a law firm in Jacksonville. His mother was a stay-at-home parent.
