Andrew Wingham Ogletree and William Travis Long were married June 1 in New York. The Rev. Cynthia A. Stravers performed the ceremony at the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest, where she is the associate rector.
Mr. Ogletree (left), 35, is an antiques dealer in New York. He graduated with honors from the University of St. Andrews, in Scotland, with a master’s degree in the history of art. He is now studying for a master’s degree at Yale Divinity School, earning a diploma in Anglican studies from Berkeley Divinity School, and intends to seek ordination in the Episcopal Church.
He is the son of Hope Gallagher Ogletree and John W. Ogletree of Fairfield, Conn. The groom’s mother is the development director at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business in New York. His father sells chemicals used in silk-screen printing processes, and is also a substitute teacher in the public schools of Westport, Conn.
Mr. Long, 29, is known as Travis. He is the operations director at Ashwood Capital Management, a family office in Manhattan. He also graduated with honors from the University of St. Andrews, in Scotland, with a master’s degree in international relations.
He is a son of Janie Robinson Long and J. Robert Long of Austin, Tex. The groom’s mother is an associate in the dyslexia program of the Austin Independent School District. His father is a real estate development and engineering consultant in Austin.
Although Mr. Ogletree and Mr. Long attended St. Andrews, they didn’t meet until 2014, during a gala celebrating the university’s 600th anniversary.
