Amy Julia Ransohoff and Sebastian Romeo Phillip Brisson were married March 2 at Hyatt Regency at the Arcade in Cleveland. The Rev. Robert Javorsky, who was ordained through the Unity Church, officiated.
Mrs. Ransohoff Brisson, 29, is an occupational therapist at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. She graduated from the University of Michigan and received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Margaret S. Ransohoff and Dr. Richard M. Ransohoff of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
The bride’s father is an entrepreneur-in-residence at Third Rock Ventures, a venture capital firm in Boston that creates and invests in biotechnology companies. He works with external academic scientists and internal business and scientific experts to develop new biotechnology companies that will produce transformative medicines for patients. He was previously a neurologist and neuroscientist at the Cleveland Clinic, and vice president for discovery research at Biogen, a biotechnology company in Cambridge, Mass. Her mother retired as an interior designer at Higbee’s, a department store in Cleveland.
Mr. Brisson, 32, is a pilot and aviation regulator with the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority. He graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
He is a son of Jacqueline Brisson of Bermuda and the late Daniel Claude Brisson. The groom’s mother is the executive assistant at Pillar Capital Management in Bermuda. His father was president of Global Construction Limited, a construction firm in Bermuda.
The couple met at a Manhattan bar in 2015.
