Amy Michelle Bochner and Jared Adam Newman were married July 18 at the Woodbury Jewish Center in Woodbury, N.Y. Rabbi Gerald Skolnik officiated, with Rabbi Howard Buechler taking part.
The bride, 29, is an associate director for media strategy at Zenith Media, an advertising agency based in Manhattan. She graduated from Boston University.
She is a daughter of Debra C. Bochner and Jeffrey M. Bochner of Forest Hills, Queens.
The groom, also 29, is a registered nurse at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. He graduated from Syracuse and Binghamton University. Mr. Newman is pursuing a master’s degree in nursing at Hunter College.
He is the son of Michael J. Newman of Smithtown, N.Y., and the late Michelle L. Newman.
The couple were introduced in 2016 by both a mutual friend and Mr. Newman’s older sister in Manhattan.
