Amanda Shreve Jatho and Benjamin Douglas Foreman were married Sept. 7 at a private home, rented for the occasion, overlooking Long Island Sound in Old Saybrook, Conn. Rabbi Andrea Frank officiated.
Ms. Jatho, 30, is the manager of email marketing at Ralph Lauren in New York. She graduated from Virginia Tech.
She is the daughter of Donna G. Jatho and William T. Jatho of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The bride’s father works from Jacksonville, Fla., as the Southeast manager for 3M business development, at Motion Industries, a distributor of industrial products based in Birmingham, Ala. Her mother is a merchandiser for TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, the golf course.
Mr. Foreman, 29, is an associate account director in New York at Scout Sports and Entertainment, a division of Horizon Media, where he does sports marketing and consulting. He graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Me.
He is the son of Caroline Aaron and James Foreman of New York. The groom’s mother is an actress and currently stars as Shirley Maisel in the Amazon series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” The groom’s father is an associate broker of residential sales at Brown Harris Stevens in Manhattan and is also an estates agent with the Agency in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The couple met in August 2012 when both were working for the Detroit Pistons National Basketball Association team as executive assistants.
