Amanda Claire Gutterman and Samuel Lee Cassatt were married July 20 at the Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena, Calif. Josh Quittner, a Universal Life minister, officiated.
Until this month, Mrs. Cassatt, 28, worked as the chief marketing officer in the Brooklyn office of ConsenSys, a blockchain technology company. She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia.
She is the daughter of Deborah C. Gutterman of Rye Brook, N.Y. and the late Peter A. Gutterman. The bride’s mother, who is retired, was a neuroscientist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. The bride’s father was a computer scientist at the World Bank in Washington.
Mr. Cassatt, 35, is the chief strategy officer in the Brooklyn office of ConsenSys. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University.
He is a son of Patricia S. Cassatt and Christopher L. Cassatt of Baltimore. The groom’s mother works in Baltimore as a consultant for companies in the nonprofit, health care and education industries. His father is a program manager for the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services in Baltimore.
The couple were introduced in 2015 by mutual friends in New York.
