Amanda Katherine Bresler and Matthew Synenberg Ronen were married Dec. 14 at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, an events space in Manhattan. Rabbi Mark Wildes officiated, with Shawn Lichaa, of the Karaite Jews of America, taking part.
The bride, 31, is the chief strategy officer of PW Communications, a consulting firm based in Rockville, Md., that is owned by her mother, Phyllis O. Bresler. The bride also serves on the board of directors of St. Dalfour SAS, the French food company, and AlmaLinks, a global collaborative network of chief executives and entrepreneurs. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown.
She is also the daughter of Sidney M. Bresler of North Bethesda, Md. The bride’s father is the president and a chairman of the Robert I. Schattner Foundation, a charitable foundation in Rockville.
The groom, 37, is the head of business development at RedRoute, a technology company in Brooklyn that automates call centers across multiple industries. He graduated from Colorado College and received an M.B.A. from Cornell. From 2004 to 2006, he served as a sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces.
He is the son of Andrea Zirpoli Synenberg of Beachwood, Ohio, and Dr. Howard J. Synenberg of Gates Mills, Ohio. The groom’s mother retired as a teacher at Beachwood Middle School. His father is an endodontist in private practice in Mayfield, Ohio.
The couple were introduced in November 2016 through a mutual friend at a party at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan.
