Amanda Marie Berntsen and Khamal Marquis Brown were married Jan. 18 at the Pierre Hotel in New York. The Rev. Joseph Yu, a Presbyterian minister, officiated.
The couple met at Princeton, from which they graduated.
Mrs. Brown, 26, is an associate specializing in securitized product at J. P. Morgan in New York.
She is the daughter of Dinah S. Berntsen and Torry Berntsen of Chatham, N.J. The bride’s father is the chief executive of the Americas at Standard Chartered Bank in New York. Her mother is a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Brown, 27, is an associate specializing in debt capital markets at Morgan Stanley in New York.
He is a son of Kina M. Robinson and Kevin L. Brown, both of Atlanta. The groom’s mother is the facility director for the Lighthouse Partners Stem program for children in Atlanta. His father is a senior librarian and branch manager with the Atlanta Fulton County Public Library System.
