Allegra Elizabeth Kirkland and Daniel Chapman Graf were married Oct. 12 at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, a beach club and events space in Bridgehampton, N.Y. Megan Lovallo, a friend of the couple who was ordained through American Marriage Ministries, officiated.
Ms. Kirkland, 29, is the senior politics editor at Teen Vogue in Manhattan. She graduated from Oberlin College.
She is the daughter of Virginia G. Kirkland and Richard I. Kirkland Jr. of London. The bride’s father works in London as the director of publishing at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm based in Manhattan. He was previously the managing editor of Fortune, the business magazine. Her mother, who is retired, was the managing editor of Fortune Americas, the Latin American edition of Fortune.
Mr. Graf, also 29, is a producer at Trollbäck & Company, an international branding and design studio in Manhattan. He graduated from Boston University.
He is a son of Kathryn Graf of Manhattan and the late David Graf, who lived in Los Angeles. The groom’s mother is an actress and playwright in Manhattan. His father was an actor best known for his role as Eugene Tackleberry in the 1984 comedy “Police Academy” and its six sequels.
The couple met in 2014 at a mutual friend’s birthday party at Legion Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
