Alison Donnelly Rotondo and Matthew Hough Mersky were married Aug. 3 at the Genesee Valley Club in Rochester. Michael G. Rotondo, the bride’s brother, officiated, having become a Universal Life minister for the event.
The bride and groom each received an M.B.A. from Duke, where they met.
Mrs. Mersky, 32, is a management consultant in Atlanta in the strategy practice of Deloitte, the accounting firm. She graduated from Yale.
She is a daughter of Dr. Lydia D. Rotondo and Dr. Michael F. Rotondo of Pittsford, N.Y. The bride’s father, a trauma surgeon, is the chief executive of the University of Rochester’s Medical Faculty Group, the vice dean for clinical affairs at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and is also a senior vice president at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her mother is the associate dean for education and student affairs at the University of Rochester School of Nursing, and is also the director of the school’s doctor of nursing practice program.
Mr. Mersky, also 32, is a manager in the financial services consulting practice in Atlanta of PricewaterhouseCoopers, an accounting firm. He graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.
He is the son of Karen H. Mersky and Michael J. Mersky of Vero Beach, Fla. The groom’s mother is a psychologist in private practice in Vero Beach, and was the chairwoman of the Mental Health Association in Indian River County, in Vero Beach, from 2015 to 2018. His father is the head of school at St. Edward’s School, a private school in Vero Beach, and is a member of the advisory council for the Indian River Medical Center Foundation.
