Dr. Alexandra Katherine Greco and Dr. Michael John Kotecki were married June 8 in Broomall, Pa. The Rev. Christ Kontos performed the ceremony at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, where he is the presiding priest.
The bride and groom met at Columbia, from which each received a dental degree.
Dr. Greco, 29, is an orthodontist and an associate at Greco Orthodontics, a practice that is owned by her father and has offices in Ardmore, Pa., and Philadelphia. She graduated from Georgetown, and received an orthodontic certificate from the University of Pennsylvania.
She is a daughter of Katherine Koromvokis and Dr. Peter M. Greco of Bryn Mawr, Pa. The bride’s mother is a contract lawyer at the Norwood Company, a construction contractor in Malvern, Pa. The bride’s father is also a clinical professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, and an associate editor of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Kotecki, 31, is a captain in the United States Army, and is stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia, where he is a practicing general dentist. He graduated from Duke. In July, he is to begin an orthodontic residency program at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kotecki is a son of Deborah J. Kotecki and John S. Kotecki of Raleigh, N.C. The groom’s mother retired as a special-education teacher at the Magellan Charter School in Raleigh, and was the president in 2016-17 of the North Carolina chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, an organization that supports education for girls and women. The groom’s father is a 777 captain for American Airlines, and is based at Kennedy International Airport in Queens.
