Alexandra Elizabeth Connell and Gustav Potter Herold were married Sept. 21 in Aspen, Colo. Terra Hart Wishon, a friend of the couple who was ordained through American Marriage Ministries, officiated at the Pine Creek Cookhouse, a restaurant.
Mrs. Herold, 31, is the founder of Patti and Ricky, an online marketplace, with headquarters in Denver, that offers clothing and accessories for people with disabilities. She graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and received a master’s degree in disability studies from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Steven L. Bochner of Scarsdale, N.Y., and the late Patricia A. Connell, who lived in Fair Haven, N.J. The bride’s father is the president of SendAFrame, a company in Carlstadt, N.J., that sells picture frames online. Her mother was a founder of Sprayology, a maker of homeopathic and vitamin sprays that was then in Shrewsbury, N.J.
Mr. Herold, 34, is an implementation consultant at Fast Enterprises, a software and information technology consulting company in Centennial, Colo. He graduated from the University of New Mexico.
He is a son of Michele M. Potter of Taos, N.M., and Richard L. Herold of Denver. The groom’s mother is a ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley, a resort. His father is the building manager in Denver for the Toma West Management Corporation, a commercial real estate management company.
The couple met in 2012 through a mutual friend when they were both living in New York.
