Adora Izukananne Obianuju Mora and Adeyemi Olayiwola Adediran were married Aug. 17 at the Jeffrey Park and Mansion in Bexley, Ohio. The Rev. Lumumba Seegars, a minister at the Pan-African Orthodox Christian Church, officiated. On Aug. 16, the couple took part in a traditional Igbo and Yoruba wedding ceremony at the bride’s home in Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Adediran, 31, is an investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she covers technology, media and telecommunications. She graduated from Harvard, from which she also received a master’s degree in public policy and an M.B.A.
She is a daughter of Ojinika D. Mora and Alison B. Mora of Columbus. The bride’s father is a retired certified public accountant and retired certified internal auditor in Columbus. Her mother is a freelance pharmacist consultant in Columbus.
Mr. Adediran, 38, is the manager and owner of a consulting firm that provides anti-money laundering, know-your-customer compliance and audit services to financial institutions in New York. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and received a law degree from Touro Law School in Central Islip, N.Y.
He a son of Olusola A. Adediran and Suara A. Adediran of Middletown, Conn. The groom’s mother retired as a forensic head nurse at Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown. His father retired as a chemistry professor and researcher for Wesleyan University in Middletown.
The couple met in 2014 in New York when the groom’s younger brother introduced them at his 30th birthday party.
