The American College of Cardiology’s Cardiovascular Summit will take place Feb. 6-8, 2020 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, as leading experts teach innovative approaches to health care economics, cardiovascular care delivery and the cardiovascular clinician experience.
ACC Treasurer Howard Walpole, MD, MBA, FACC, is the course director for CV Summit 2020. He is joined by course co-directors Cathleen Biga, MSN, RN, FACC; Pamela Douglas, MD, MACC; and Geoffrey Rose, MD, FACC, in creating a course that will help participants from across the different cardiology practice settings to adopt business and leadership strategies and skills that advance the Quadruple Aim within their work environment.
Over 400 clinicians, care team members, administrators and executives will attend sessions covering a variety of topics applicable to the business side of practice, as well as improving patient care and enhancing clinician well-being. Attendees will also hear from keynote speakers working throughout the health care field.

Joint Society Sessions
The ACC will also hold joint sessions with fellow cardiovascular subspecialty societies, including the Heart Rhythm Society; the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions; the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology; the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography; the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance; and the American Society of Echocardiography. Leaders for all the societies will hold sessions on wearables, ambulatory procedures and advanced imaging.
