If you’re aiming for best-dressed this fall, the new Christopher John Rogers and J.Crew collaboration needs to be on your sartorial radar. Yes, the acclaimed New York-based designer has put his glamorous stamp on a dreamy collection of 39 pieces across ready-to-wear, accessories, and Crewcuts (J.Crew’s line for children).
The joy-inducing designs are overflowing with high-octane color and punchy patterns, as expected, given that Rogers is known for his prismatic knits. Now, they’re available to a larger audience, from fuzzy sweaters to coordinating skirts and, of course, figure-hugging dresses. The Christopher John Rogers brand has also become known for playing with silhouettes, and in this collection, the label pushes the geometric boundaries on a bubble duchesse satin skirt with pockets. In addition to the head-turning, ready-to-party designs, the collaboration is anchored with elevated wardrobe essentials—like classic blazers, vests, and even hoodies.
“It was important for me to include things like hoodies alongside embellished chiffon dresses because it speaks to the modernity of the customer,” Rogers explains. “These pieces are really special and collectible, but they’re also really wearable. That’s what makes this collection so exciting.”
The last time Christopher John Rogers released a collaboration, it sold out immediately, so I wouldn’t wait too long to shop the latest. Ahead, discover the editor-approved items we’re eyeing right now—and be sure to head to J.Crew’s website for the full lineup.
