The 53rd annual conference of the European Society of Human Genetics, due to be held in Berlin from 6 to 9 June, will now be wholly virtual. « We will be hosting more than 120 invited speakers, 172 abstracts in concurrent sessions and 2700 posters – all viewable from your living room, » says ESHG President Professor Alexander Reymond, from the Centre for Integrative Genetics, University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
Although the Covid-19 pandemic has meant that physical contact between conference attendees has had to be halted, the organisers have worked hard to ensure that they will still be able to bring the latest findings inbasic and applied human and medical genetics to those working in the field.
