The League of Kitchens, an organization that offers classes in the homes of accomplished immigrant cooks, will now put some of those courses online. No, you won’t enjoy passing the rice around the table afterward, and you will be left with the pots to wash, but you can prep the ingredients and cook along with the group, viewing and interacting with the instructor and the other participants. For most of May, the classes, usually two-and-a-half-hours long and starting in late afternoon, will cover Uzbek and Persian cooking.
League of Kitchens online classes, $60 each and limited to a group of 13, leagueofkitchens.com.
